About

Mike Oram

Mike Oram is a professional guitarist, bassist, vocalist, live performer, and studio musician based in Massachusetts. Known for tasteful playing, strong musical instincts, and the ability to fit the song, Mike has spent years performing and recording with some of the area's most respected artists.

Equally comfortable on stage or in the studio, Mike provides guitar and bass tracks, recording services, production support, and remote session work from his own studio. His work as a background and harmony vocalist is another important part of what he brings to a session or performance, with a strong instinct for crafting and arranging vocal harmonies that complement the song. Whether it’s adding the right guitar part, building an arrangement, tightening a track, or creating layered vocal harmonies, Mike brings decades of experience and a song-first approach to every project.

Mike has performed and recorded alongside original artists including Billy Bragg, Juliana Hatfield, Tanya Donelly, Jen Trynin, Abbie Barrett, Sarah Borges, Andrea Gillis, Eric Salt & The Electric City, and Magen Tracy.

Mike also performs regularly as a solo acoustic artist and with cover projects, bringing the same song-first approach to clubs, private events, breweries, listening rooms, and full-band stages.

Available for live performances, studio work, recording, collaborations, solo/cover gigs, and private lessons.
